    Now than haters listen up....

Jordan Thompson just successfully defended 5 off the last 5 for a Trent Rockets win. Holden had 40 at the time but Manchester Originals couldn't get home. Even better the last ball wicket was caught by Adam Lyth giving it ten tonne to the Old Trafford crowd. Not the first time The Big Show has defended bugger all to win a team a game.

Some great finishes today but I’m still in the hater camp.

Yeah the first time both matches on the same day have had one run wins. I wish they would post a video of his last five balls rather than just the last.

So someone playing for a cricket franchise based in Nottingham won a game - shugs shoulders.

Amuses me that Thompson has started being called The Big Show. That was Glenn Maxwell’s monniker when he came to Yorkshire a few years ago on the back of some spectacular hitting in Australia. He never really lived up to that name though.

I was confused, I though Maxwell must have been playing until I saw the video. Get your own nickname!

I heard it the first time during a Yorkshire commentary last week. Maybe they’ve decided to pass it on to him

They did. Would have won if they had gone for a second with the double fumble in the field, but should have seen down that rubbish total easily.

Cross's 1st few deliveries faced were shocking. Plus the running.

Absolute master class from Pooran and Brook. Brilliant cricket all round and a very good win

Really enjoyable watch. I wouldn't mind popping down to watch Pooran in person. Still got Stokes, Topley and Jason Roy to come back. Be a cracker Friday night at the Oval as they have a great team that were fantastic the other day, especially Zampa.

Still think its an unnecessary competition, but those two were a pleasure to watch tonight !

It is and I couldn’t stand being in the ground listening to all that hysterical nonsense being screamed through the PA system but it is brilliant seeing players like those two up against the likes of Archer and Jordan. The prospect of seeing Stokes and Roy turn out for “Yorkshire” is something to look forward to as well.

Laura Wolvaart was a joy to watch earlier carrying her bat with a 15 strike rate to get the away win for the Originals. The best innings of the tournament so far.

The Originals mens team struggles with Jos injured. Brave were told to rest Archer by the ECB but haven't missed him so far.

Just watching Superchargers at Originals. Ben Stokes has just gone off as he looks to have done his hamstring running a single to take strike.

I'd be shocked if he plays any part of the Sri Lanka test series coming up.
