    Caught on the break every time. You can see why in the lack of anyone else we had to play Jordan Williams there last season. Lopata and McCarthy need to be sold or loaned out and we need a quick defender even if it's just back up for Pines when he's back. I also think Shepherd should get in in front of Earl based on the two preseason games I've seen.

    Brilliant game that. Still completely batshit at the back, but we appear to be much more proactive in attack.

    Some encouraging displays from Lofthouse, Craig and Jalo. Question marks around Earl, Killip and Cotter.

    And seeing Conor stroke one in from 25 yards made me well up with nostalgia.

    Thoroughly enjoyed that, for the 3rd friendly I've watched in a row.

    I thought Cotter was excellent going forward when he came on, and while not so good at the back, no one else was either.
