    Allegedly on good money at brum imagine it was take significant pay cut but play regularly or just cash the cheque but get splitters in his bum at best. I guess he made his choice. I hope the Gent is true he looks like upgrade on Cadden.

    Longelo is 23 and only played 40 professional games which I feel is never a good sign at that age. Not disappointed it fell through and Gent - assuming he signs - sounds a promising player.

    Perhaps you would care to tell us what the deal was because I don’t know. Maybe he wanted 20 grand a week, would you pay that for someone who’s a bit player at Brum, I know I wouldn’t.

    Don’t understand how it’s automatically the clubs fault if we’re not prepared to roll over and spend more than we deem appropriate to fill a role.
    I don’t want us to spend more than we can afford for anyone - I’d rather we stayed where we are and survive.

    I don't care how good a player is, I personally never want to see the Club break the wage structure, spending money they don't have.

    We’ve gone from having a competitive wage in championship to not having a competitive wage in division one with these owners . Looks like two targets have turned us down now over personal terms
