[BFC SITE] RAPID RESPONSE TELECOMS SECURE EAST STAND NAMING RIGHTS

Barnsley FC is delighted to announce a significant partnership with local business Rapid Response Telecoms, who have secured the naming rights for the East Stand at Oakwell.

This exciting development marks another step in the growing relationship between the club and Rapid Response Telecoms, a company well-regarded for its community spirit and commitment to supporting the local area.

The rebranding of the East Stand will be completed in time for the upcoming season, with new signage and branding elements set to be unveiled. Fans can expect to see the Rapid Response East Stand become a central part of their matchday experience at Oakwell, embodying the unity and passion that defines Barnsley FC.

The East Stand, now to be known as the Rapid Response East Stand, will proudly bear the name of the local telecoms firm. This comes as an extension of Rapid Response Telecoms' already strong support for Barnsley FC, having previously committed to sponsoring the back of the shorts for both the Men's First Team and Women's team. In addition, Rapid Response also sponsor our Club mascot Toby Tyke.

Rapid Response Telecoms has built a reputation not just as a business, but as an integral part of the Barnsley community. By aligning with Barnsley FC, they are demonstrating their unwavering commitment to supporting local initiatives and fostering a sense of pride among residents. As part of their commitment, Rapid Response Telecoms generously give away 116 match tickets every game, allowing more fans the opportunity to experience the thrill of live football at Oakwell.

Ballpark figure, how much do people reckon they stump up to name the stand? 50K? 100? I wouldn't know what such a thing would cost...

 

For once, don't take an announcement from the club as a reason to post negative comments; any investment in the club, particularly from a local company whose owner is a Reds fan through and through, has to be a good thing. Surely more money coming into the club can help things such as poor/slow service at the food and drink outlets?

Totally agree with this. Spent some time in his company at the Derby game on Wednesday and he readily admits to having an almost child-like enthusiasm for the club. I can't imagine a better fit for a major sponsor of the club.

 

Please are we allowed to still secretly call it the East stand or will we get kicked out and banned?

I suspect we're still allowed to refer to it that way, but only if we sing it, which is the same as not being allowed at all as far as the East Stand goes.
