I have a mate who commentates (not boxing, esports but same concepts really), he says that when you've got a crowd of thousands that is very biased and loud it makes it really difficult as a commentator because you're very aware that you shouldn't get caught up in that atmosphere and often inadvertently go too far the other way
Yeah not something I'd really considered before talking to him about it. Must be worse in sports like Boxing where my understanding is having such a one sided crowd is quite rare so the commentators won't be as used to it
I know that my knowledge of boxing is about as good as my knowledge of football but to my uneducated eyes it looks like Simpson is winning by a mile. Which probably means he's coming third behind the ref
