    Middlesbrough and Rotherham getting all the TV coverage but if he does send the Army in (I agree it should be considered) then I hope they are also deployed in Stoke, Bolton and Blackburn where there have been equally disturbing scenes.

    Also, if this escalates, I can easily see the opening weekend of the football season being delayed. Establishment have long linked football thugs to far right. And have always labelled all fans as thugs.

    I think it's worth stressing again that all the support of immigration reform is fine. But this is hijacking a tragedy that, if anything, represents a failing of our mental health and social services. This was a British citizen born and bred. The family migrated here over 20 years ago.

    We are talking about the wrong thing at the wrong time and it's leading to bigotry and hate. This situation must not be seen as an opportunity to manipulate people in the way it has.

    Just watched the Rotherham disgrace. The country would be better off letting everyone out of that hotel and replacing them with the brainless thugs outside, I'm sure there'd be less bother as a consequence, then send them to Rwanda, tho tbh, wouldn't wish them on Rwanda.

    If the Just Stop Oil protestors who climbed a gantry on the M25 deserve 5-year jail sentences, then these moronic thugs should have the key thrown away.

    Why are the police standing by and watching rioters throw plastic wheelie bins through hotel windows then setting them alight. Why can't the same tactics be used that were used in 1984? Seems, they are scared of everyone with a phone.
    I just took a straw poll in a leicestershire countryside pub and in this instance, it was unanimously in favour of a dose of police brutality.

    Watching the Manders hotel riot now. It’s absolutely sickening.

    I think the last week has highlighted a widespread problem in England, and it’s not something that will go away with a change to immigration policy.

    The police are probably encountering the same people in different circumstances on a regular basis and have done for years. The guy at Southport who was hit in his balls was later arrested for his part in a domestic disturbance.
