Sorry but they have to take the lumpiest off the bbc and let someone else have a go their coverage is appalling you start watching one event then suddenly your watching something else.
Metal from eiffel tower in the medals, the bell they re ringing in the stade de France going to the Notre Dame - great ideas!
First Olympic medal ever for St Lucia and it was a gold and in the 100m. What an achievement, she’ll be remembered forever there.
I reckon I should get gold medal in calling the winners when it’s a close result. Every time they go to a photo finish or say it was only a 100th of a second in it or whatever, I’m always bemused because I thought it was as clear as day who won. It’s weird because when I see the replay I notice how close it was and sometimes find it hard to tell again myself but during the live race it’s the most obvious thing in the world.
Yeah to win one of the 'blue ribbon' events like the 100m sprint, is a great achievement. And the G.B athlete was so close (but not quite good enough) to the Bronze.
I'm the same with dead-heats in horse racing. I'm certain they could use a pixelation to define the winner. If I can see what the winner was why can't a judge. There was one at Goodwood yesterday. I was certain the horse on the outside had won. Not complaining because I had the other horse but was certain I'd lost in real time.
Gotta love Lyles. I'm not normally a fan of that brash American style, but he does it in such a likeable way.
