    No asylum seeker has recourse to public funds. That means they do not get benefits of any kind. Appreciate you might not have known that previously so now you’ve been informed please stop posting lies.

    If it works for the asylum seekers why don’t we try it for the people on the dole as well them. Stop the benefits, stop the work shy.

    Fair point. Wasn't really what I meant. Just meant we shouldn't have a blind open door policy and that we should be tackling the root causes behind their desire to leave home.

    What about stopping benefits completely for everyone? Yes some people might die of starvation or freeze to death but it’ll teach those that see living off the system as a way of life?
