At a guess, and it is a guess, I dare say that they'd be open to penalties and sanctions at boardroom level? Perhaps the more financially astute on here can clarify?

For me the Club would be liable if they didn't pay, and the Club would be within their rights to recoup that money from them through other means. Take shares away from them? Like I say, just a guess. Either way, they're losing out.

Not sure how the club can be liable, if they have been fined as individuals?

Tricky one, but as they were directors of the Club, would the club not be liable if they don't pay it themselves? Again, I've no idea, I'm just speculating, but I'd imagine that as they were working for the Club, then the Club could have to pay it if they don't....like I say, I've no idea.

My guess is that if they choose to stay outside of UK football then they can't be touched. It's not a criminal court so the EFL have no powers to go after them for it. But they wouldn't get through the door at board level in the future without settling their dues to the EFL.

Predictable, yet nonetheless fantastic news. I'm glad that's finally fine and hopefully it's yet another step closer to being finally free of PMG.

Good news, onwards an upwards, hope they release the money they had hidden for fines under the mattress, for some signings. C,O,Y,R.

Conman fined 100k, lee 75k respectivly

The Club will contribute to EFL costs

You would also hope that FIFA/UEFA would back the EFL and sanction them accordingly.

I would imagine the fact they have fined them individually the EFL have accepted they were not acting on behalf of the club or in their interest.
Declaration of ownership should have been submitted before ownership was accepted as an example.

Conman and Cheat should be made to give up whatever shares they hold in our club to pay any penalty incurred by us even if it's only court cost contribution

Glad that's all done and dusted. Hopefully the final stain left by Conway and Lee, and we can now move forward. Wonder what Wigan think? :)

Directors and a company are completely different entities. There have been cases where a single director has sued their own company and won.

And sadly but rightly, you can't just take shares off shareholders, though you can dilute their percentage holding by new share issues.

They might need to sell their shares to make a quick buck though...

Given the club have been losing money hand over fist... I'm not sure many bucks, fast or slow, are to be had.
