Running scared of that knock on the door....... https://x.com/Nigel_Farage/status/1820871075783143813?t=qEw5J_WElwu0zaIx-QoE7Q&s=19
Seems to be a bit of fighting between him & Tommy. Farage openly saying he dislikes Tommy & tommy's reply being stop lying. Doesn't take long, does it?
Jostling for position. Anybody who even vaguely paid attention in their GCSE history class should be able to see what's going on here. He's using his status as an MP to close the others out.
If I were Tommy Robinson I'd be having a swim or lounge indoors next time. He's a threat to national security. If you can take a picture you can adjust a gun sight.
Farage and Yaxley-Lennon are the same. They are in WhatsApp groups together. None of this is by accident. The sitting government have absolute power and I hope they aren't just locking up Jonny no-teeth from Middlesbrough for six weeks and actually use the 'full force' of the law as they suggest, because the likes of Nigel, Tommy five-names, the failed actor and especially Musk... they've done enough to be prosecuted. Over to you, the 'changed Labour Party'.
The government does not have absolute power. It is subject to the sovereignty of parliament and the rule of law, as well as other checks and balances woven in to our (unwritten) constitution. Just to take one example, that's why Boris's early prorogation was deemed unlawful and parliament had to reconvene until he could legitimately convene a general election with parliament's approval. Prosecution of an individual is an operational decision with which no legitimate government would interfere. Governments can however provide additional resources to enable the law enforcement authorities to carry out their duties to the full. Yvette Cooper has already pledged to do that.
I don't think they are in the same WhatsApp group. I think they are deliberately being kept separate for plausible deniability. I think their handlers are probably in the same WhatsApp group - along with those handling Trump, Le Pen and various others around the western world.
It's about time we started calling them both what they are, they're terrorists. People would have no problem calling them that if their views were that of Islamist extremists, so why should their openly fascist views be treated any different.
The one thing that the video has done is possibly put in the rioters minds that the housing situation is going to get worse - for me this adds new fuel to their fire and no doubt we will hear of this being trotted out at the planned 'demonstrations'. I thought the sort of behaviour we're seeing was from 50/60+ years ago. We know of ethnic minority families now staying away from town and city centres for fear of getting abuse whilst with their children. This has gone beyond just asylum seekers to just out and out racism - as I said on another thread (agreeing with another poster) - if they like fighting so much, give them national service for a couple of years and let them loose in Ukraine.
This is something that struck me yesterday. The videos being spread by right wing media outlets refers to any person of colour as an immigrant. Of course, in many cases that simply isn't true. People are being persecuted simply because of their skin colour. As you say, it's something that was probably more common place 60 years ago, that I thought we were well past.
I’d be interested to know who’s funding them. It’s well known that Tommy’s had trips to Isreal & Russia in the last few years & Farage has often been touted as a Putin supporter. From my own experience of going to Cyprus a lot of Israeli’s & Russian’s go there on holiday. I wonder if Tommy & his friends have paid for their 5 star all inclusive out of their own pockets?
I was with some Indians yesterday who have lived & worked here for above 50 years & they were saying they’re glad they’re going away for 3 weeks as they’re worried about even going to the shop at the minute. It’s awful.
At least some Americans are involved. Turning Point and Heritage Foundation are both big Trump backers and Farage was at the Republican conference with them. Reform parrot their policies too - anti-climate change, anti-tax, etc. and Turning Point UK are one of the big account pushing the anti-Islam aspect.
I read a piece yesterday saying that a couple of his main donors are Israelis and pro Israeli groups.
Jenrick not helping the situation by hinting of a two tier approach to policing while 'condemning' the violence from the other side of his mouth. Another vile grifter who will pretend to believe in anything that gives him money and power and care not how incendiary his words are.
I tend to agree. If Baroness Warsi said 'are the police not telling us everything?' about demo x or protest y she'd be called out for racist dogwhistling. Farage is a nob of the first water.
But surely the point (however sh*t I made it) remains? The ghouls I referred to in my first post are inciting the chaos seen on UK streets over the last week. Is that not a criminal offence? So whilst it’s amusing to learn that Tara from Tamworth has been locked up for 12 weeks for nicking steak bakes and sausage rolls, you’re not really achieving much. They don’t have absolute power, you’ve pointed out. But surely they have the power - for example - to ban social media platforms?
