    Had a quick swatch for potentials...

    Hákon Valdimarsson (22 year old Iceland international from Brentford) or
    Lucas Bergström (21 year old Finnish international from Chelsea)

    Bergström played 21 games for Peterborough the season before last whilst Valdimarsson has yet to play a first team game in England.

    Guessing at that it would be Lucas Bergstrom from Chelsea.

    Spent half the 22/23 season at Peterborough before they sent him back. Performances were pretty dodgy in the Swedish prem last year. If it's him I'd be a bit worried.

    He is tall though in fairness on the plus side.

    Really? How much Swedish and Icelandic football do you watch? :p

    On a serious note mate, I've only heard of him due to signing for Brentford and think I've watched him once for Iceland... so I'd have no clue whether or not he'd be good enough. Clearly must have something about him to join a premier league side

    You'd actually be surprised. But he's Iceland's starting keeper iirc.

    A podcast I listen to focussing on football in Northern Europe mentioned him a few years ago as one to watch. He seems to have really kicked on and I'm sure he goalie of the year or young player in 2023 in the Swedish Prem. Hardly screams League 1.

    His data in his time there is really strong, highest save percentage in the league, most goals prevented (if xg is your thing).

    I reckon I might start for Brentford this year as Mark Flekken is a bit cr*p imo
