Can't believe some of the comments I read on here in regards to McAtee. Just sums up a number of Barnsley fans as being very bitter.
Running it down in what way though? 2 consecutive play off finishes is hardly the mark of a ‘run down’ club.
Collins undeservedly took all of the flak last season and paid for it with his job. There's no more hiding for JAQ, Neerav and James. They will rightly be heavily criticised if this season is a **** show.
I know what you’re saying, but in the grand scheme of things, 5 million is actually small fry in football - even at the top of League One. It’s a sad state of affairs, but if it continues, we’ll only end up in a downward trajectory.
Multi billionaires and we still persist with this be happy with your apple, orange and stick of coal mentality. Be thankful we have a club tripe. It's pathetic.
The "latest accounts' are what... Way out of date. We have not heard of any more "input" from the board. But we have lost high eaners. Sold players. Increased TV income..... IF we are still losing money, I'd be very surprised...
Where the instalments gone from Anderson and Kitching? When they spent nowt the summer they were sold folk said it's because we've haven't got the money up front.... We've had an instalment payment now - where's that gone?
Me too. It's margarine not butter now btw. Costs n' all that. Easy to spend someone else's money. Milk your own cow.
Hourihane and Roberts won’t have come cheap and the fee we reputedly paid for Gent is beyond the means of half the teams in the division. I don’t buy your argument and I’m delighted that the owners are not prepared to pay over the odds.
Unusual, he normally inflates the outgoings not the income lol Maybe we need to start to use other clubs as a reference rather than our own recent history. Some clubs seem to do very well in manoeuvring the transfer market. Better than us with a lower budget.
None of our owners are anywhere near a single billion never mind multi, not even collectively. In football terms they're fairly poor.
