Truth is that we're a club that always sells players and he's one of probably only three that we could actually sell, hopefully we can sort a deal out and let Clarke strengthen our attack with the money.
Honestly I hope he's reading this. He's an entitled melt. Maybe his agents a pr*ck I don't know but he's not stepped up. Step up and you can get sold but thus far, you're not that good. I play football and he's not even as good as some Sunday league players. Work hard or jog on.
Seriously, if I was his manager, I’d be pointing out to him that BFC are his employers. Until he gets a move he needs to give everything for them. Because time is ticking and if he doesn’t get a move I would be using his reluctance to play as a reason to not play him ever again. See how well that works.
If I were our owners I'd be taking the hit, sticking him on gardening leave and making him sit out his contract at home getting fat and ruining his career. **** him
He didn’t say callum didn’t want to play. He said he didn’t play him as his head wasn’t in the right place. I translated that as he wasn’t played as they want rid. No real problem with that.
A club might pay the fee for his undoubted talent but could be forced to think again shelling out for a guy who might not turn up if his heads not right. Get Hammill back for a week to kick some sense into his sorry ass
Oh I'll doubt his talent. He's of bang average ability who has never managed to a position even in the lowly third division. He's living off the hype of a few good games years ago when he was a kid but I've seen hundreds of teenagers look good for a few games, it doesn't mean they actually were any good.
Had the potential to be something brilliant but turned out to be bang average. Tries really hard to get out of Barnsley but doesn't actually go anywhere. Anyone willing to pay millions for him should be shot. We should name the bridge after him. The parallels are uncanny.
For a bit of balance though those good few games years ago have seen him playing in the championship every season since and will probably lead to us selling him to a championship club. Whereas I doubt your hundreds of teenagers kept getting championship clubs.
A player who’s international quality would stand out a mile in this division , yet when he’s played he’s blended in to be as crap as the rest. When he played he always seemed to go for the glory finish when better options were on. The reality for styles is he isn’t as good as he thinks he is - I can’t even think of 1 game where he’s been the best on the pitch when in a reds shirt in either division. The best thing for him would’ve been to have ripped this division up and shown genuine quality and then got his move the right way-instead he seems to sulk and thinks he’s above this level. He needs to get his Barnet cut as having his fringe that low down can’t do anything for his vision
I'd guess he's in talks with a club and it wasn't over the line before kick off. A bit disappointing Clarke has thrown him under the bus, especially as he keeps saying he has no issue with him. Seeing the vitriol, it's clear there's no way back for him here so it's now a case of take what we can and move on.
