I think they are getting called out for their entire run of many years and in the case of the Cryne family a couple of decades.
I think we can all share the frustration with the OP. I've posted negative stuff about the direction of the club and the owners' intent ever since Conway. I also think we've been declining and we've not stopped doing so yet. However, the make-up of this board is different now, and crap though they've been I do think they want the club to succeed. They are trying and they're learning. So, personally, though I'm still disillusioned and don't go all the time anymore (as the football isn't inspiring or entertaining enough for me like last night's effort which I watched on telly) I think the board should be cut some slack. And, dont forget they are spending money to keep the club afloat. When things like 'board out' are chanted I would also like to see the alternatives. Very poor overall last night for a few reasons but its early days, the window's still open, the manager needs some time before we judge him and things may pick up markedly by next month. I also dont see why people who support the board (who are putting money in as I've said) are part of the problem. Get pissed off by all means but show some balance or alternatives as well.
It is one game you are right it’s a poor start, a poor continuation of home results, poor planning of the playing resource, poor planning for the superstore, poor prices and poor service at the kiosk, poor or none existent comms it’s a long list of poors.
Things can change, I believe they will. If we don't make the playoffs this season and give it a real good go then my mindset will change. Bringing Clarke Hourihane Roberts in was the start that gives me hope things will get there.
For a few seconds there I was trying to think who the new player Clarke was and assuming I must have missed one and then I realised it was the manager. Oops
I think improving on Collins with Clarke and adding experience to me told me we were moving in the right direction certainly not is that all we needed but it gave me some confidence of the change of the clubs thought process. Imagine if we had brought in an unknown coach with no league 1 experience then a few Austrian or non league signings. Even my resilience would have been tested.
Tbf we haven’t won at home since Feb and we are starting with 2 strikers who werent good enough for a start last season at this level, and a keeper who wasn’t either, and we’ve gone with a Journeyman lower league manager. So there’s the arguments to say the owners aren’t advancing the club. Your turn.
