I would say it is on the part of the telegraph (and other right wing outlets rolling this story out again)
We all kno that the reason staff have to ask everyone is because a man who is on transition from a woman could still be capable of being pregnant. But if one of the staff asks a trans man but not other men the, get rich quick while posing as fighting for your rights, Legal firms would have a field day...and we would pay the bill..
If I said I don't know because I haven't had a pregnancy test then would they not do the scan? I think you just say I am a man and can't get pregnant and then pull a confused face.
As a man you wouldn't be required to answer the question. You'd just be required to circle male in the box asking your birthday sex
Think you are confusing Sex and Gender. Which is fine, but we want to avoid patients and Doctors making similar slips. The form shared shows it's really a nothing issue.
Given that it is now possible to transplant a uterus into a patient, there *in theory* is the possibility that within the next couple of decades someone born male will become pregnant. After all, its only plumbing and the right cocktail of anti-rejection drugs and hormones followed by IVF and a C-Section. There is no reason except ethics that it can't happen *now*.
