Surprised you know anything about words like that, with how you're acting. You give the impression you've never even looked at a woman.

Currently sat driving round Monaco as Lewis Hamilton on the PlayStation. Third at the minute, 10 laps remaining. Which means I’ll finish third. Where I qualified. Because Monaco.

Love computer games. Just not had much time to play them until recently.

And I’m no nerd. Just enjoy relaxing and a couple of hours escaping reality I suppose.

What trophies could we create now if there was a new updated version ? lol.
A Gold trophy for finishing the whole game, and losing less than 3 lives.
A Gold trophy for finishing the whole game, in less than 3 hours!.
A Silver trophy for finishing any 100 levels.
A Bronze trophy for finishing 10 levels in a row, without losing a life.
    Any others... ;)

Gaming is just another form of relaxation for most people, for a minority of people it’s a profitable career.

There’s nowt wrong with it. Let people do what they wanna do, especially when it doesn’t cause harm to anyone.

Although I don’t play single player games I’ve heard The Witcher and Red Dead Redemption 2 are the best games out there.

Personally, I’m a multiplayer guy. You can have great fun with your friends online just as if you’re in the pub, but spending less money! Which as a tight Yorkshireman, I’m all for!

Here's some more Manic Speccy early 80s nostalgia, with the lead programmer/creator... Matt Smith. ;)

I'm almost purely a singleplayer guy nowadays, unless I play something with my daughter... It takes nerves of steel to play Peppa Pig or something with a 5-year-old, but it can be rewarding and a lot of fun too.
I've also never cared about playing with total strangers, because so many people are such idiots when they're online. :D I used to play some games with a bunch of mates, but a lot of multiplayer games require you to devote way too much time in them, and I just can't do that anymore.

As for The Witcher 3 and Red Dead Redemption 2, both are hugely popular and I suppose that they could be called modern classics, even though they're not among my favourites. Both games deliver an unforgettable story, but the actual gameplay is a bit meh. RDR2 for example has a huge open world to explore and it's full of cool little details and stunningly beautiful locations, but the story missions in the game take away all that freedom and it turns it into quite a linear experience. Of course there are tons of side missions, but what I enjoyed the most was the free exploration. The game has a multiplayer mode too, by the way, but I'm not sure how good or popular it is.

Hey Tomi kid lol, I can't stand multiplayer these days to be honest. I've always been a fan of the single player campaign, of games.
Yeah I've tried joining in with multiplayer, but there are some really loathsome Twitter type players out there.
And they just have to spoil it for the rest of us!.

I loved Jet Set Willy as a kid, but I never got that far in it. It's crazy how different game design was back then, and how anyone thought that the insane difficulty level would be a good idea. Back then most games truly were "arcade games" (like Juddy G said) where your only purpose was to score as many points and stay alive for as long as possible, and hardly anyone seemed to care about the story. I know there were a lot of technical limitations, but it's still interesting to see how gaming has evolved from those ancient times.

Speaking of JSW, has anyone played a game called Horace? It's like the modern equivalent of Jet Set Willy, and quite obviously heavily inspired by it. It's also probably the most British game that I've ever played! The game is quite a typical indie platformer with retro pixel graphics, and while the actual gameplay doesn't offer anything special (it's still decent though and there are a few neat ideas), it's the story with its dry humour and charming characters that make Horace so special. One of the few games that have ever actually made me laugh out loud.
