Always be difficult in this situation not to get riled up, nice to see the usual ones having a pop at others on here. TWW
Do you honestly think it looks incredibly bad on the company though mate? Honestly it does feel like he goes against the decent thing every time. Dreamboy and I often agree on football and betting etc, but sometimes his posts are absolutely bizarre. As for this drone lad, I suspect eventually (because loads of folk have started doing it) there will be some sort of legislation against it and ruin it for vast amounts of normal people using drones
why post this? you're just giving the drone cretins the oxygen of more publicity. They should be prosecuted for harassment The law in this area needs tightening up.
Not watched it be I've seen enough of these "auditors" to know how it goes. They are absolute Nimrods who make money from getting reactions out of people going about their business.
What a total bellend that drone guy. The business comes across really well. Cant be doing with people who intentionally try to antagonise others, should be ashamed of themselves.
This idiot came to my workplace a couple of weeks ago. We were told not to speak to him and just ignore him. He got no content at all and didn't even put his drone footage online.
Probably the best way, no drama = no likes, seen them flying over police stations wasting coppers time just so they can say look at me I'm perfectly legal doing this what you going to do about it
Flying a drone over a police station presents a security risk and is illegal without written permission in advance from the police station (or the senior officer in charge).
Absolute bellend, the guy who does these videos. Sees himself as some kind of moral crusader for consumer rights. He’s a dick.
It isn't an offence to fly over a police station providing you have the correct licences etc which cost peanuts. Long watch but this goes into the nuts and bolts etc, the Law is an ass
See I don't have any issue with these people holding police to account. They need to be clued up on legislation and too often throw their weight around when they have no right to. This is from working in the police. What is out of order however is holding private businesses to account, totally uncalled for.
Personally I don't like it on both counts it just gets other people wound up, as an owner of a drone that flies it very rarely I totally understand peoples hatred towards them and these incidents only increase that. I use mine for viewing beautiful countryside with massive open spaces and have never flown over buildings or built areas, tbh under the aviation license you need you can't fly within 50m of people even inside the buildings, however under 250g these small drones you can. The Laws/loopholes around drones need changing, if look at how they've advanced and their use in warfare, in the wrong hands there's potential for them to be very very dangerous.
Fair play to the big lad for not rising to his bait and flattering him, which seems to be what he wants to happen. However Revenge is a dish best served cold. Like the previous poster, I think we need to change the laws for the use of drones as in the way that "the auditor " is using his is of no use to the general public and can only lead to further incidents like this, wasting valuable public resources .
The Rapid Response guys tried hard to be reasonable but the guy didn’t want that - he wanted a reaction. His bike was padlocked & he then wanted to “talk”. It seems (from the audio”) that he was wearing a mask - I’d have filmed him on my phone for evidence, particularly as he said he’d ruin their business. A clear threat!
Not sure how it's trespass, do other aircraft have to fly around this property. If there isn't a no fly zone then he's allowed to fly. Not saying i agree with him but filming in public is happening all the time, ANPR cameras and CCTV being examples.
I find speed camera vans and CCTV cause me more harassment, now if we could prosecute these, that would be great. (he was a ***** by the way)
