Plenty of attacking skills there and some lovely passes and goals. I know a Youtube collection can't tell you everything but I'm quite pleased with this signing, based on that at least. Let's just hope he settles into a new environment quickly and gets up to speed. It would be awful if we ended up with the same situation around our last two imports from Belgium.
Best of luck to him and hope he's a success. With midfield options of Connell, Phillips, Craig, Hourihane, Benson, Russell, Wolfe, Styles, Yoganathan, Bland and Chapman... We must surely be confident we're shipping 2 or 3 of those out?
Was sent out on loan quite a bit too so doesn’t seem to be able to knuckle down in one place for too long for whatever reason.
If he has a good work ethic, allied to what seems to be some classy other attributes (especially his passing) then, as the kids would say these days, looks like we've just acquired a "proper baller" !! Fingers and toes crossed.
Think he has clearance already but given they said he had a short pre season suggests he’s not match fit yet.
Work permit required for a Barnsley FC signing what could possibly go wrong expect his debut to be sometime around Easter 2026
We’ve been missing someone with genuine pace and ball carrying ability in the middle of the park for ages now, so hopefully he might fill that gap!
Herbie Kane replacement by the looks. Hope he's a bit of an upgrade. Let's see. It takes midfielders longer to bed in usually, so may need to be patient on this one. Danny Wilson looked terrible in his first half a dozen games from memory. He was expecting players to make runs, instead of ball to feet & that had not been the way at the time.
