    Worth a try with Matthew Craig already here. Was on Sheffield United's books before Spurs. Already cutting the mustard. Championship clubs interested, but we might be able to offer him more than the bench. Get on the phone chaps.

    What about trying to get the lad on loan from Ipswich who we tried for last summer whilst he was at Wimbledon?

    Still think there’s no smoke without fire for the Ladapo link. Hasn’t gone anywhere and his recent record, apart from Charlton, has been very good.

    We missed a trick trying to get a cheap and cheerful option with Shayne Lavery who went to Cambridge. Type of depth we need as long as we bring in a main man.

    Wonder if we will take a look at Matthew Hoppe from Boro.

    They are keen to get him moved on and he is not registered in the squad for the season.

    Young American who burst onto scene at Schalke and moved to Boro but not really clicked for him.

    Knows big Don already and could link up with him and Gaga here and join the US contingent we have going on.
