That’s the problem with the far left it’s their opinion or none, whether that’s political or football.

Interesting article I read earlier about the fuel protests that cost £1bn, not including lost NHS appointments, with lorries blockading motorways, oil refineries etc.

Number of people jailed, zero. One of the organisers became a Conservative member for the Welsh Parliament.

Compare that to the jail sentences handed out to Stop Oil protesters.

Also fair to say that had these people been Islamic we'd have probably had the term 'terrorism' banded about along with the jail time.

I wonder what black and other ethnic communities feel about the history of two-tier policing. The statistics would make for interesting reading.

    It's really not.

It's when someone has been corrected, and things have been explained to them in a clear and concise manner and they still don't want to get it, that's when it becomes frustrating.

Ringo has had it explained to him by 3 different posters why some people have already been charge, and some haven't. Yet he ignored these explanations and went on the defensive.

    That's when folk get frustrated.

Can you cite some examples of what you constitute as "far left"?

I saw Mel Machin play Owen Archdeacon at centre half. He was pretty good at it to be fair.

    Yeah ok. Talking stupid.

Which murderers specifically were you referring to?

The lad in southport? All we learnt from his court appearance is he's got Autism Spectrum disorder. Assuming that's part of the defence then we are looking at a hugely complicated investigation with multiple assessments and counter opinions. That's before you get to the outside opinions potentially interfering with the perception of the case and the fairness of his trial. It could drag out for years.

If not, which specific murder trial do you think should be rushed through in the same way sentencing goons who plead guilty to rioting offences? Do you think doing so would prevent murderers in the same way that punishing the rioters quickly stopped the riots?

Exactly what are you getting at?

Between April 2022 and March 2023, there were 24.5 stop and searches for every 1,000 black people in England and Wales. There were 5.9 for every 1,000 white people. Two tier policing in the UK , but apparently facts don’t matter when it impacts white racists.

If you still on your high horse . The lad in Southport basically screaming mental illness. He still took 3 lives and was caught red handed, where is your problem, killing is wrong. Lock him up and throw key away

That’s fine if we accept that racist people rioting and attacking police who have mental health issues, are on the autistic spectrum, are substance abusers, alcoholics, thick as mince are also given the maximum sentence the law allows. That prevents a two tier system.

I'm really sorry but I'm not on any kind of high horse. I'm just baffled as to why you're shouting for a complete restructure of the British legal system because we don't treat cases of public disorder/rioting the same as murder cases.

I can't be the only one that's completely baffled by what you're trying to say. Once you start bypassing the legal system and locking someone up indefinitely, where does it stop? We all need to be governed by the same rules or it's all pointless. If we treat that kid differently it quite literally becomes 2 tier.
