What’s happening is they wanted 500 we offered 500 we expected the deal to close and then they decided they wanted him to play Friday by Monday we went back in and was told 750 or no deal and then walked away but then recontacted them in last few days
can’t tell u the amount of deals this summer that have been close and then hijacked and Joe Taylor is no less likely to get hijacked than any other currently we lead the race but there’s some big competition from clubs and things can change at any moment hence me refusing to say it’s a done deal
That's basically super disrespectful. If I was in Luca's shoes I'd probably think twice about posting stuff if I then had to face reactions like this.
People need to embrace Luca. He's a reason I look for his comments. We are lucky to have his inside information...nobody else posts any inside info...it wasn't long ago I was slagged off about Thalhammer...the wind up artists need to bugger off
Well my record is 100% & I intend to keep it that way. I got information from someone working at the club at the time that we were looking at Stevie Mallan, mentioned it on here at the time, in Sept/October, we signed him the following January. Nobody took any notice. I was under a different moniker back then anyway so I guess it doesn’t count..
The transfer game is one of many moving parts two clubs a player, agents and players family's. Little wonder it's not done until the dotted line I think we all know when someone been genuine and not on the wind surely
I don't know if it's been mentioned but Nardiello turned round on the motorway because of how the board treat his best mate Shuker. Had Shuker been allowed to sign when he returned from holiday Nardiello would have re-signed. He owed us one for treatment of his best pal the previous year. It's actually in black and white somewhere.
People don’t appreciate how fortunate it is to have an inside track. I should have been an absolute gold mine of info as I had a family member on the first team coaching side a few years back but through his entire footballing career he would not discuss football at family events.
You mean they can pay bigger wages so naturally would be favourites when it comes down to the finances on offer, I really struggle sometimes to understand what you expect of a mid table L1 budget side? It's either of the following (1) You struggle to have any grasp of where the club is financially. (2) You choose to ignore the financial position of the club and constantly wheel out moaning and groaning for the sake (3) You are just naturally a negative person (4) You are a Wind Up Merchant looking for bites Which ever one of the above it is I don't think Barnsley FC is for you mate.
Also that he’s got 4 offers but we are paying the most of his wages out of the 4 and he was definitely there yesterday
Thanks Luca I really appreciate these little snippets you post they are genuine and if they don,t happen ,that’s out of your control.
If that's the case you would think he will be at all 4 at some point. I would imagine with the situation pelly's describes at Luton they will be ,looking to strengthen before they let him go,if we are offering the most re wages we must be the one Luton themselves will want. Not sure how the loans work if he wants to go elsewhere can he himself take a wage cut to make the difference fingers cross anyway.
