Two are misogynistic scumbags I kniw that! I don't really follow JKR, but I had a quick look at her tweets and they were pro women, eg. About Iran wanting to make it legal for 9 year old girls to marry and a post against Islamophobia.
Transphobic scumbags, all 3 of them. They're abusive of trans people and people they've just guessed are trans
I presume if we are discussing Trans women in female sports the job is relevant due to the potential huge advantages it can bring. If we are specifically looking at boxing it almost certainly moves into a safety issue first and foremost.
Lots have, though personally I do not believe it Transphobic to question if Trans women should be allowed in women's sports. It is a ridiculous over reach when these people start talking about grooming and rape etc. As I said before I've not read much on JK except for the stuff shared with me in this thread so I wouldn't like to pass judgement. Musk and Trump say enough in small doses to make it obvious. Musks recent comments about his own child were utterly disgusting and to be shared publicly was practically abuse.
I asked a simple question: "How would you feel if I started referring to you as He, Him etc. despite knowing those are not your pronouns until you show proof you have XX chromosomes?" What her job is has nothing whatsoever to do with the response to that question.
I just think care Personally pronouns don't really bother me, just like someone getting my name wrong wouldn't.
Fair enough missed that bit. Thought you were asking in relation to the sport. So my comment is essentially meaningless as a response to you. Purposely using the wrong (or not preferred) pronouns is unnecessary. Though it shouldn't be compelled it's little effort to make. Trans women's place is not in women's sport, but that is a different issue to the person who is the subject of this thread. Potentially some athletes so exist who are genetically male but naturally present as female, this is more complex issue in my opinion though there naturally will be some overlap on the subjects. Such as natural genetic advantages people of the same sex have anyway. While I believe I am entitled to an opinion on the issue I'm certain I don't have enough knowledge to solve it.
The thing that annoys me is the hypocricy of the transphobes with their "what is a woman" ******** who get bent out of shape about language like "people who menstruate" etc saying "those are called women" only then to go off on someone who fits their definition of a woman but they decided she can't be a woman because of some other criteria. We're one step away from "she can't be a woman she likes football" or "she isn't wearing a dress" or "her breasts are too small" etc. and it's just nonsense. In fact we're not even a step away from that, we're already there. 99% of people spreading the nonsense about Khelif did so because they saw a photo of her and decided she didn't look feminine enough.
