    Mansfield are on verge of signing another attacker according to X.

    Will Evans from Newport who had a strong season in L2 last season.

    Beaten a number of clubs to him according to reports. Wonder if that makes way for us to get DKD.

    Will Evans having medical at Mansfield Town today, which definitely increases our chances of signing Davis Keiller-Dunn. I would wager than the money from his sale would go a good way to their being able to stump up the cash for Evans. I think that DKD will definitely be on the move now and I hope that it will be to us. I rate Evans, incidentally, as he seems a class player who scores quality goals, but we have chased DKD all close season, so he obviously fits more what we are after. Evans is 27 years old, having been in non-league for a while. I hope that this will all be announced tomorrow, or Wednesday. Maybe Mansfield will want to hold it back until after Friday, though.

    Stockport spend an absolute **** load! The only reason it's gone under the radar/ not talked about is because of Wrexham. Stockport have spent a boat load over the last few years.
    It does, if Stockport offer a larger % of wages than a champ club, then it's simple.

    Relative to a club where they was they have but not for a L1 club.
    The biggest difference between them and us and most clubs is that they set out clearly what their 7 year plan was and what they need to do to achieve that.
    That has included a lot of work behind the scenes and infrastructure to go hand in hand.
    Whether they achieve their 7 year plan will remain to be seen but having an ambitious clear plan is a great place to start.
