That's a good call. Especially if @Stephen Dawson can incorporate something about him leaving defenders with a sore ring.
It clicked for him at Swindon but he's hardly pulled up trees at City. Last thing we want is another Billy Big Bol1Ocks.
Not sure about that. Some players have a bit more moral fibre than Callum Styles. He also missed when clear through yesterday, our current strikers would miss just as effectively!
I think he's just coming back from a long lay off from injury too. Was recalled by Bradford from Swindon, but only played a handful of games and then missed the rest of the season. Has played a couple of pre-season games mind. It's an odd one, as his career hasn't really got going, other than for 5 months at Swindon where he scored for fun. Given his lengthy injury lay off since then, it'd be a huge gamble.
I'm not sure what relevance Styles has to this? What I meant is, Luton obviously need him at present, given he's playing for them. So I don't see how a deal will happen any earlier than deadline day.
Wigan want him as well if they can sell someone to raise funds and Stevenage and Crawley have wanted him previously according to Nixon in his The Sun column.
Looked the real deal at Swindon, was scoring all types of goals but as you say been out since really. It's a gamble, but he is only 23 and showed a lot of good during that Swindon loan
Was chatting to a City supporting mate who says that he's a reputation as being a lazy trainer who has a bit of an attitude on him. He also said that he's more than capable of making the step up and scores goal which you remember. Went to Swindon because he had a major spat with Hughes, who was manager at the time. Alexander came in and recalled him more or less right away but then he picked up an injury and never regained his form or his fitness. The deal does make sense though for us - affordable with a decent record. It could turn out to be a good signing.
Think he means like us we are not playing Styles because we/they are after cashing in.. Not the player wanting the move.
Unused sub last night in a League cup game, surely they let him out on loan before the end of the window?
They only have cauley woodrow behind Morris and Adebayo. Id be surprised if they allowed him to leave at all ?
