Time will tell but I don't want his head getting frazzled by too many responsibilities on field. Yesterday he was poor by his standards.
That feels like a really early question. Not sure much can be proved or disproved after 2 league games and 1 cup game. I thought he as very good against Mansfield, good against Wigan when he came on but poor yesterday.
I don’t think Conor will play anywhere near enough to warrant the armband though. Roberts I could see but I’m sure he’ll be leading on the pitch anyway, whether he has the armband on or not.
I thought he did ok yesterday. Almost played like a third striker for the first part of the game, then dropped deeper following the changes.
Token title. You'll have a couple of leaders on pitch, Luca's main responsibility will be to organise xmas p*ss up....
I hadn't realised that Luca Connell had transformed into a Scottish woman, a species you have a particularly distaste for.
That's the club captains job if we know who that is lol. Or if indeed got one. Robert's is vice captain btw.
Think even when Duff was here he said that Luca would make a great captain eventually so I guess he’s been earmarked for the role once Williams moved on.
Im not sure what the criteria is to be measured TBH. The other players and coaches will perhaps be the judges.
A noticeable drop in form would be a good broad indication that it isnt right for him, as we saw with woodrow iirc? But he's played well barring lincoln and looked like his old self. I really wanted it to be Luca so fingers crossed he does well mate!
