FAWNL 1 North - Barnsley FC v AFC Fylde

Just doing the Club's job for it and reminding people that the Women start their new campaign at 2pm this afternoon on the Astroturf - entry is free.
As for any further information - forget it. The Club did manage to post the above a couple of days ago, but apart from that - nowt. We might have some new players, some may have left us, hopefully we have a team that has had a pre-season and is raring to go - but who knows?

Ok, there’s information on their social platforms for those that do.

 

As you say it did announce it 2 days ago. New signings are also in news articles. I'm not sure there is much wrong other than it's a terrible site to manoeuvre. But I'm led to believe that's not the design of the club. But from the efl. Many issues have been brought up how the site is not as friendly to use. Especially those with sight issues.
As for the ladies team Twitter generally updates eg team selections etc. I wouldnt expect a running commentary on the game on the website.

 

Interestingly they seem to have signed at least 3 more from the other Barnsley team this summer

 

That's good to know, they'll have experience of this level which is much tougher than the division below.

 

For those interested.
2-2 if not aware. Barnsley went 2-1 up in 84th minute. Fylde equalised 86th.

 

A very even match, draw a fair result. Some decent individual performances in the Barnsley ranks.

 

I read that as North Barnsley and thought it was maybe a team out Royston way.

 

I've only just realised it's not North Barnsley...
