The Reds welcome Manchester United U21s to Oakwell in our first Bristol Street Motors Trophy game of the 24/25 campaign in Group F, kicking off at 7pm. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all, here’s a detailed guide for supporters attending the match. Arrival and Entry Supporters are encouraged to arrive early, with turnstiles opening at 5:30 pm. To avoid any last-minute rush, please take your seats at least 30 minutes before kick-off. For juveniles under 14, please remember that they must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+). Tickets for juveniles are not available at the turnstiles and should be purchased in advance from our Box Office. Ticket Collection and Purchases Home supporters with pre-ordered tickets can collect them from the Box Office located in the South Stand. Given the high volume of collections, it is advisable to pick up your tickets before 6pm to avoid lengthy queues. A collection point will be available outside the Box Office from 5pm onwards. Visiting supporters can collect their pre-ordered tickets and any duplicates from the same Box Office starting at 5pm. Please make sure to plan accordingly to ensure timely entry into the stadium. Parking Information Home supporters are urged to pre-purchase parking tickets for the South Stand car park due to limited pay-on-entry spaces. Visiting supporters should use the Queens Ground car park (S71 1AN), with parking fees set at £5 for cars, £10 for minibuses (under 16-seaters), and £20 for coaches. Health and Safety To ensure the safety and well-being of all fans, please note the following guidelines: • Access to all car parks will close 30 minutes before kick-off. • It is possible to exit the car park during the game up until the 80th minute dependant on crowd movement. • Vehicles must remain stationary for at least 15 minutes after the final whistle, with exit gates opening only when deemed safe by the Stadium Safety Officer. Hospitality guests have designated parking in the East Stand car park, accessible via Beevor Court road until 90 minutes before kick-off and via the South Stand car park until 30 minutes before kick-off. Post-match, these guests may exit via Beevor Court around 25 minutes after the final whistle once deemed safe to do so. Get this story in the funny thread for mentioning a last minute rush when we've only the ESL open. Looking on Eticketing it looks like we've sold about 200. People will be rushing in at half 5 soon as turnstiles open.
Take your seat 30 mins before kick off. Is that to soak up the rocking atmosphere? 1998 all over again? Scott Jones back?
I wont be surprised if the attendance is higher than the wigan game. So only one pay on day gate seems a bit short sighted. Unless it's been published bog standard like a league game.
https://www.manutd.com/en/players-and-staff/reserves Anyone know anything about any of the under 21s that might play against us tomorrow? Maybe one will impress enough to make us want to get him on loan.
Disco’s lad is in their youth set up but I think he’s only about 16 so would be surprised to see him tomorrow. Wooster the goalie is a Barnsley lad they poached from our academy I believe?
Correct, I assumed him signing full time contract he was 18,so great achievement to get a contract at 17. Wouldn't surprise me if he figures tonight on the bench, playing against the old man's team.
At beginning of last season, Mainoo was playing for U21’s …. would have been nice to see him at Oakwell.
