As somebody else said, despite us not caring about this compo anymore, it's hard to not care about the team. They are still playing for and representing our first team after all.
Who else is in our group by the way, and I'm guessing it's still the top two in each group, who go through ?.

I think if recruits aren't signed before Saturday there might be a case to play or involve Joshua Dyer.

Huddersfield and Donny complete the group

Ohh ok, at least they are Yorkie derbies then, but it's going to be hard to qualify now I reckon.

Out of all the attacking players, he looked the most out of his depth IMHO, but he still has enough time to develop his game. Not sure he is ready for even the step up to this competition. I would focus on a season in our U21's then a toughening up loan to League 2 or minimum National League.

Marsh, I think also needs to go out to League 2 and prove himself with regular football this loan window, same with Nejman.

In general including last season our shooting seems to have gone downhill, most shots either scuffed backpass like or off target. We have a former goalscorer in Stead on the coaching staff, not seeing this ability being transferred into our play. Just a thought but could a change in the backroom staff in this department be beneficial?

I’d be shocked if Dyer or Nejman got a loan to a league 2 club. I can’t see either getting higher than Conference North right now
