We all know what’s going to happen blind panic on the final day with a couple of loans brought in.

 

Doug's update from today:

Joe Taylor interest acknowledged but as expected, others are also interested.

Still mentions DKD interest

Also says it is unclear as to if we will keep our top players and Clarke says to expect the unexpected. Would assume though with Phillips and Connell that Doug mentions that it would take serious money to get them, especially this late on in the window so I am no too worried in regards to those.

 

I reckon Phillips will go if styles doesn’t to fund money for certain players

 

Styles or Phillips….not a difficult choice that. If we were to sell Phillips that would be around 50 goals from last season gone in this window with Cole, McAtee and Kane leaving too. It would be madness.

 

hmmmm......worryingly there are still quite a few clubs around prepared to spend serious money.

 

Sounds like Mr Clarke is as frustrated as us , wonder if he walked the board would take notice ?
Seems there’s been a tectonic shift on the BBS too

 

Always a shame to lose someone, but if some club throws a big big offer for someone that will help us improve long term.

 

Depends if we bring in Keillor Dunn that’s 20 goals back straight away and Joe Taylor another 20 so it balances out a bit

 

Those two in and Styles out and all of a sudden it's a good transfer window.

 

I think DKD has always been lined up to replace Phillips, I don't think we were ever going to have both in the same team.

Come on….we all know what the chances are of those two being BFC players come the end of the window. Slightly less than nil.

 

I’d say there’s a much higher chance than u think

 

It will be interesting to see how things develop over the next week, hopefully we can get things right because I don't think we're too far away from being a top end team again.

 

Pay the fee get DKD and Taylor like I said before is still highly likely

 

With how Phillips played against Lincoln ,it wouldn't surprise me if he went.
Kichen had similar games at the start of last season.

 

But that performance wasn’t unusual for Phillips was it? He blows more hot and cold than most players I would say.

 

I wouldn't be too bothered if he was sold for the same reasons.

 

We must be confident with the Taylor deal or we are going to be in the brown stuff
