Barnsley FC Women are set to take on local rivals Barnsley Women’s FC in an eagerly anticipated cup fixture on Wednesday 28th August at Oakwell, kicking off at 7:45pm. Tickets are priced at just £3 for adults, making it an affordable night out for the whole family. Entry is just £1 for under 18s, so bring the kids along to enjoy the match under the lights at Oakwell. Additionally, parking is free in the South Stand car park on the night. It was the FA who moved Womens FC, into the Midland Division (still at the same level) because they were the southernmost team in the North Division which was overpopulated. Happens routinely in mens' non league football as well as the lower tiers of the womens' game.
