Control a game when in front. It's been like that under Collins and now Clarke. Surely it's down to coaching?
It's just abysmal isn't it. It's like we go a goal (or 2) up and then just decide to stop playing. Stick the boot in? Keep possession, calm things down and control the pace of the game against shell-shocked opposition? Nah, fanny around with it needlessly, put ourselves under pressure for no reason, commit defensive errors, fail to win the game. Rinse and repeat. Just a bad, bad mentality from whatever team is out there. Which is all the more frustrating when the same group of players are so good at picking themselves up from a goal down and getting back into it.
