Aye in half the amount of minutes he's score half the amount of goals and got half the amount of assists.
That he's put in a shift more times than Cosgrove has, has had more good games than Cosgrove has (in my opinion) has an almost identical goal return and is only 21. If we are ******* someone off out of the club I know which one it would be if I could choose. Opinions and all that
Erm the lad you are making out to be hard done by. He’s scored one more goal and one most assist that Marsh done in the same amount of games.
I'm very confused. Marsh has scored no goals and has also scored one more goal and one more assist than himself in the same amount of games?
You compared him to Cosgrove who’s got one more assist and one more goal than marsh. Not sure why you are confused.
I thought you said "Yet he’s scored no goals" so I was looking for a player who's scored no goals not someone who's scored more goals than someone else. Anyway it's my opinion that there's a lot more potential in 21 year old Aiden marsh than there is in 27 year old Sam Cosgrove and that marsh has had more good games than Cosgrove has for us despite being extremely raw and inexperienced.
Come on - you can't compare Marsh with Cosgrove. They are different players with different roles. While Cosgrove is scrapping with defenders and creating chances it may well be that Marsh gets the scraps. Does that make him better than Cosgrove? Plus you've basically posted in the past that Watters is burger and that Marsh is some sort of steak. Neither are yet worth a good meal but it's not too hard to see who is liable to end up in which market. Which won't involve Waitrose or M+S in either case btw. Marsh has done nothing much of note yet in a first team reds shirt. Yet you slag off Styles, who has.
That’s an opinion. Yet he plays in games and offers no impact. Sorry but given the amount of changes any decent player makes an impact by now.
Styles's attitude to the club has been appalling that's why. With Marsh and Cosgrove I'd say one has potential to be an ok squad player, the other is on his way down the pyramid sadly. I don't think either are M&S.
I don;t care about anything beyond what I see on the pitch, because anything else is wholly unreliable. I admit that my own observations and conclusions are wholly unreliable too, however.
I really don’t have a dog in the fight and I want either or both to be great. But the assertion that marsh has had more good games for us than cosgrove seems a bit of a stretch.
I remember the first time I saw him play I didn’t think he was up to it. Then this board were going to sponsor a player and I was about to put money in until I found we’d voted for Marsh. Seemed a total sentimental waste of time - and so it proved. I don’t care if he was born in the west stand bogs and came out singing just like watching Brazil, he just isn't good enough.
It’s a bit over the top I admit but Marsh is nowhere near the required level. We all wanted him to breakthrough with him being a local lad who loves the club but it’s not going to happen. He needs moving on and hopefully he makes a career similar to Danny Rose.
