I think too many Chiefs cut the tomatos. We need Clarke or Hourihane player manager. Not both. Still can't see this working.
I can't still work out ,why Lofty was loaned out last season ,when he would have made the side better.
Hourihane should have been left on to see the game out and talk Connel through the game management otherwise whats the point of him being here?
The way I saw it they had the better of the first half fortunate to be winning, second half we were much the better side. Lessons to learn Cotter can't play right back in a four and the keeper's very young and raw he has been sent here to learn and he will make mistakes if he was the finished article would a 10m keeper be playing at league 1 Barnsley.
2-0 up at home and he didn't have the nous to see it through, they'll be tougher games to come at home and he'll only get so long before he's under greater pressure, I know its only 2 games so far at home, but one loss and a draw is worrying to say the least.
To say Clarke is all talk and he’ll be gone soon is a tad knee jerk and that’s putting it lightly. It’s not even a full month into the season and people are throwing a right strop. Yes, yesterday was frustrating and so was the game against mansfield but I’m reserving judgement til at least ten games. Listening to him on interviews, I have no reason to believe he’s full of it, he comes across as genuine and committed. I’d be more worried about the hierarchy and what they’re doing to support him with incomings in the next week because so far it’s looking bleak I honestly believe that given a bit more time, the team will start to gel and buy more into Clarkes philosophy- he just needs a few more additions and some more squad depth to achieve that in my honest opinion. Folk need to chill and get behind him, it’s early days.
Yes we have to give him time and i am with you about the hierarchy, but on the other hand he has made some dubious substitutions
Fair enough, I suppose time will tell, football, whether you like it or not is very much a knee jerk business, it is in the now stuff, 3 games in and he's not looking tactically astute, against Mansfield his own centre half had to tell him to change formation at 0-2 down.
He just needs ‘game time’ could tell that yesterday as often his first touch let him down. I thought he should’ve played against Man Utd U21s (unless he was injured) Need to get him up to speed and things should look better.
