Another inventive bit of cheating there - McCallum coming back onto the pitch with a spare ball in his hands so we couldn't take the throw-in.

There's a few open, but the queues are bigger than Andy Townsends nose.

Sheffield United paid a reported £23.5 million for Rhian Brewster o_O

Over four season he's scored a whopping 4 goals :D

Don’t know where a goal for us is going to come from basically we are only attacking down the right hand side with nothing doing on Earl’s side of the pitch , pretty boring fare but they haven’t been much better.

He was denied 2 great opportunities if not for smart defending. Give him a break!

I don't think Marsh or Watters would get in most League 2 sides. Saying that, creativity is absolutely non existent.

Earl would be sound as a left back in a back 4, solid but absolutely zero attacking threat down the left. Reminds me abit of Steve Foster.

And most of their threat is down his side

They’re having a go, but there’s no quality. Our midfield as ever having a problem, either all back or all making runs forward. I wonder if we ever train passing triangles in the middle of the pitch with the three midfielders, seems alien. It’s just play it out wide, feed to luca, boot it long, get ball coming back at us. I could go on for hours but I’ve already bored myself even more.

We have no one in midfield who can run with the ball and beat the odd man. We’ve had the same issue for some time now.

Watters was free in the area then but laid it back rather than turning. Aargh.

Wish Watters instinct was to shoot, he’s always looking for the lay off. Not sure if he’s devoid of confidence or those are his instructions.

Apart from giving away the ball for their first goal, I actually thought Earl was very good on Saturday, and offered quite a bit going forward. He also had a solid game at Lincoln, although definitely offered very little from an attacking perspective. However, I would suggest that was far from his fault as the whole team pretty much were awful.

Cotter just play him wide in a 4 much better going forwards, can't fault the lads effort tonight so far
