That's it. If we rely on loans we can't improve assets and then we run out of them and have nobody left to sell that we'd get a good amount for. The money from Styles and installments from those we sold last summer like Kitching should mean we have some cash to pay for example 500k on a permanent striker signing.
Proper reporter over there saying its happening https://x.com/DKristoffersson/status/1828545040941228157?t=53w21E1-oH_-HCoccWW9Mw&s=19

Loans can compliment permanent signings. The window isn't shut yet. And what's to say if it comes off it isn't with a view to a permanent deal. It doesnt mean you have to splash the cash on fees either. Eg Cole to West Brom. Like him or not he would have commanded a decent fee if still under contract.
Quick, strong, versatile and seems to be able to finish. He's either going to score 20 and be a new cult hero. Or he's going to score naff all and be Schmidt 2.0. But I am so keen to find out which
dreamboy3000 you're a long time poster but as you get older you seem to find anything Barnsley related a negative.Life can be a lot happier if you look on the bright side sometimes.
Like the look of this guy. I dunno what level he’s playing at in those vids, but he certainly looks confident.
Nope, doesn't look like it. Laurens Ten Heuvel was my other shout, but doesn't seem to have been him either. This is infuriating!
We're rumoured to be signing a massively experienced attacker who's been capped for Sweden, a very decent European nation, and still you're finding a way to put a negative spin on it. This is just a tiny little bit ridiculous.
This lad can play. I follow a bit of Scandinavian football, and this lad scored a stack of goals for a couple of smaller clubs who bounced between the top flight in Sweden and their version of the Championship. He then got his big move to the then Champions a couple of years ago but got a little lost in the shuffle as they had a squad of about 50 players so he ended up being rotated a lot - especially in Europe. Still did OK though. 2 years still left on his contract, so can't imagine it's a permanent deal - but you never know. Like it.
Oh he looks a very decent signing if it happens, never said he didn’t. If we’re going to build anything lasting moving forward we have to complement it with a permanent signing too for me. You might disagree, that’s up to you.
I know highlights reels can be very deceptive but he scored some cracking goals in that lot and looks direct and pacey. Fingers crossed on this one.
