Horrible Twitter Fans

I went into the abyss that is ‘X’ last night. We’d won, there was a nice positive vibe on here so everyone would be happy, right?

We had one bloke posting a pic of a document for ticketing staff claiming we only had 3,000 home fans last night, and he was gloomily painting a picture of unrest amongst the supporters, due to being ‘taken for granted’, and of course this figure suited his narrative.

Next we’d got a young lass talking about the owners and how they were going to ruin us like they had with the other group of clubs in their portfolio.

I get that some fans aren’t happy at the moment and some are seemingly never happy, but we have hit a new low when the truth no longer matters.

 

Don't look at X, but aside from that, you could buy tickets right up to kick-off, that document claims pay on the day is not available.

 

I understand the frustration around the slow transfer business to a degree, and some people's disillusion with the club.

But then I do think some of our fan base are absolutely terrified that they might one day enjoy something.

 

Yeah, and anyone could have knocked up that document tbf.

 

Some fans on social media only ever want to stick the boot in- it becomes very wearing & goes beyond “telling it how it is” into downright untruths (or should I say lies!)

 

It was knocking around at about 6pm and considering they changed the decision to open the ticket office up to kick off time it was probably made late afternoon when they envisaged little or no more tickets to be sold.

 

Should have kept his powder dry, especially if he’s an employee of BFC as well

 

Let's be honest:

a. There are many people in this world who are morons.

b. Statistically, it means unfortunately that some of them will be Barnsley supporters.

c. They all seem to be on twitter.

In the past, when they didn't have a platform, it was easy to pretend they didn't exist. Best thing to do is stay clear of twitter and pretend they don't exist. You'll be happier.

 

That blokes twitter account makes for some reading, especially the reposts from a certain far right racist, Irish passport holder living in Spain

Quite.

And they all have a vote. That's the scary bit.

 

11.5k attendance 5k away fans = 3k tickets sold by BFC...apparently

 

I'd clocked that also Abruzzo.
Hopefully the majority of our fans will have clocked it also and come to a considered conclusion.

 

Wonder if that guy actually works on the turnstiles? It’s not good form if so.

 

They sold 5k attendance 10.750 so if my maths are correct we sold 5.750

 

I think the guy who posted that about the attendance was in the Luke Goddard camp in the day.

If it's that sh*t and full of horrible fans, then why are fans on here so sad and obsessed with it (ehh Dreamy).
They continually keep bringing up links to it on here, because maybe they have got nowt better to do in life!.
