Should give the next few days a boost with players wanting to join for a chance to play and the club knowing they have a few extra quid towards the transfer budget.
They all should have been drawn from a single pot IMO. Just another example of money and big clubs ruining the game.
It’s UEFA’s fault. Theres nothing the FA can do really. The only thing I take issue with the FA over is allocating 4 of them home ties & 2 away ties. That bits completely wrong. I’m glad because it’s giving me a trip to Old Trafford but whether it’s home or away should be random.
They didn't allocate them, they apparently had a draw of the 6 clubs prior to the Newcastle game to decide if the clubs were home or away. No idea how they actually did it mind
Sorry I didn’t explain my self correctly. I know they did that but why? Why does it matter if all 6 were at home or all 6 were away. I can’t understand the logic behind it.
Yes but it was a crap way of doing it. All about money and greed in the game. Commitments should be towards your home league setup, not European competitions. Everybody drawn the traditional way.
