Rumoured to be signing for Wrexham permanently after refusing to sign for us on a permanent basis previously. That’s where we’re at as a club right now.

Where's that, in a place where our fans believe all rumours?

There's a crude joke here but I'll resist.

Let’s not be bringing that negativity around here, we’ve only had 3 months to sort this mess out since Cole & McAtee left.

Let them throw daft wages at him from the bank of Deadpool.

He would not start here ahead of Cosgrove anyway. Would not have been a bad squad option as a long term project, but not worth losing sleep over that we have missed out on him.

This is the rumour. From a very small journalist who seems to report on African players. Hard to say how reliable it is but at no pointed does it say he “refused to sign for us”. Only that we were interested.
For all we know it was a quick enquiry and we decided we weren’t bothered.

No, where multiple players are being put off signing for the club because of the way the club is run from above. The lack of football knowledge and expertise/experience within the club above the playing level (ie not including Clarke in this) is seeing us miss out on players.

Believe it, or don’t believe it, that’s cool, but that’s what I understand is going on.

Let's be honest, Wrexham is a much bigger shop window than Barnsley. If he performs well he's much more likely to get noticed there due to the Disney stuff than he will here.

Plus depending on where he lives Wrexham is maybe somewhere he can get to without having to move if he's settled, Barnsley less so.

I don't think these things are ever as simple as one club's status versus another's. You're dealing with human beings who have lives that need to be considered when they're looking at their careers.

Pretty sure we tried to sign him permanently as part of the Styles deal, but he didn’t want to come. We then went back in for a loan but as it stands that hasn’t happened obviously.

Donny fan at work said Faal had an awful attitude and was a prima donna for them. Although he actually typed “pre Madonna” so…

Probably wanted a Prime Donner instead of a Faal.

Could look pretty stupid then if other signings don't materialise.

Behind one of the most talked about clubs in the world owned by Hollywood mega stars? Yeah sounds about right. I'd sign for them instead of us in a heartbeat.
