They wont let him go until they get a new one in, so will go to the wire. They are bidding 7 million for Tom Cannon
No mention of us sorry.. from half n hour ago By Alan Nixon Luton Town striker Joe Taylor’s move to Huddersfield is in limbo - despite a visit to Yorkshire. Taylor met the Terriers to discuss a loan with a view to a full time move to the League One outfit who have been chasing him for weeks. However Luton called back Taylor after the discussions as they wait to make a decision - and try to sign a forward of their own. Taylor and Huddersfield now face an anxious wait to find out whether the deal happens before the window shuts.
Just who are we going to get now? The foreign route is probably closed off at this late stage and it looks like Faal and Taylor are going elsewhere. DC wanted 3 but even 1 is looking difficult.
All would have been forgiven if Taylor would have popped in the door tomorrow.. But looks like we were the bridesmaid and not the bride away. Still in for DKD and Ennis according to Doug
That can't be right, that suggests that a side other than us are trying to sign a striker on deadline day? Surely nobody else has 'left it this late' too?
Nevermind. When we're 10 points clear at the top by xmas, they'll all want to come in January. It's all part of the Masterplan......
Yes, they are. DKD plays a bit deeper for Mansfield but he can play up front. Ennis is a centre forward.
Plays as one, but can play up front, similar to McAtee for us last season. Regardless, Ennis is a striker, and presumably there's other options.
I read that, sukerwas given a deadline, that's wat I recall he was holding out for a better deal somewhere else,he failed to sign with the time given, mardy nardy got a better offer but didn't want to look a greedy 2hats,if he thought about super that much why didn't he sign for same side as him.
I love your positivity and I'm a glass half full type of guy but to get three forward player's in one day of any quality must be testing your patience surely.
