Looking forward to tonight how many from off here are going. Way things are going maybe one or two of the legends might get a deal if they nip across to Oakwell.

Did anyone go, I appreciate we have all got other things on our minds at this time of year but it's not often you get the chance to listen to the two most successful managers in the club's history.

    Yep. Was there last night.

Really enjoyed the evening. Great to listen to the stories and got to chat to Allan Clarke for a good while.

Comedian was poor, but then didn’t they say he was from Donny? If so, that explains a lot. Pies poor also and drinks prices really took the mick. Minor gripes though (wouldn’t be a Reds fan if I didn’t moan) which didn’t take the edge off a great evening.

    What did you think mate?

Yep really enjoyed it but they spand my era dunt think Clarke was too impressed with the effing and jeffing from the younger members of the panel. Good to hear there stories I think they all hold our club dear to their hearts.

A highlight for me was when Barry called our stadium announcer a ‘little fattier’! Also Hamills comments about how he was told by the owners that he had no value to the club when we got relegated was interesting. Had no idea that he was offered a contract to stay when we went down.

Agree with the other posts though, comedian, pies and drinks were poor!

A good night overall though for a very worthy cause.

He's old school though is Clarkie, and Ive always thought he seems to have a bit of a 'limited' sense of humour.
I'm not surprised then to hear he wasn't keen on the swearing, although that's not a criticism actually!.
