    Nigel Clough is talking sensibly about it.
    Saying his head was turned (by us), and it was probably the right thing to do in the end, for the club and the player.
    So fingers crossed that we have completed the signing, and he's a player who rates us higher/better than Mansfield.

    Personally I think Clough sounds bitter and is being a bit classless about it with his comments.

    I think he's right about having to let the player go, because he clearly wanted out (like with us and Styles).
    But yeah maybe he is a bit peed off at how he had his head 'turned', despite them offering him a better deal, and he refused to discuss it.
