Couldn't agree more..We all bought in to Duff building a dynasty over a few seasons. The board have obviously scrapped this under 23 resale crap and it may be Clarke who's responsible. We're now buying mature proven players for a proven Manager...This is the way forward..

To be fair I thought Toney was utterly **** after his spell with us, whereas I genuinely saw Ashley Fletcher as having a career as a Premier League regular.

I thought he was unfairly criticised ok he wasn't a world beater but we had better players infront of him. Winnall, Watkins, Fletcher. He was strong fast had good attributes just very raw and young.
I also thought Fletcher would do well maybe too much money too young.

Looks to me that it’s more likely for us to have leavers today rather than incoming.

X factor you do realise it's Barnsley you support, seriously when was the last time we signed a player who fits that bill.you must spend the whole time while the transfer windows are open in constant state of disappointment. Look the two we fetched in yesterday may be rubbish or they may not be but if you want x factor I can guarantee your disappointment.

If you read my reply it was in response to someone who mentioned the X-factor not me, as it goes I don’t rate Jalo.

I did actually say that because he was, fair play he’s vastly improved although he’s massively sent his career downhill going to Saudi.

I genuinely don't understand the Saudi move. Ok, the money will be massive - but it's not as if he'd be starving on £100k+ per week in the Premier League. Can't see him being picked for England while playing somewhere where I'm guessing the overall quality is like League 1 with a few ageing megastars thrown in.

You are not far wrong there hasn’t been much pleasure of late and match days can be a chore, there was no excitement of the season starting, was NFI about pre-season can definitely see this being my last as a ST holder.
I hate everything about the ownership model the constant vicious circle we are in, Groundhog Day every season, in fact I’ll only go to away games when it’s a new ground I’ve no interest in going to Old Trafford in the cup.
Will have to see if I get my mojo back, also a downer that I can’t even enjoy a drink match day which I looked forward to as much as the match itself.

Name a player who's been prolific at 17/18 kieffer moore was kicking a ball in non league like many at that age do and still have a good career.

I would have gone. It’s a short career and he could get a career ending injury tomorrow.

I'm guessing he'll be on £700k a week plus in Saudi - difficult to turn down for sure. But he's effectively chalking fck on his England career at the age of 27 when he already earns more money in a year than anyone could possibly need in a lifetime.
