Interesting that Crawley have had 75% possession but no shots at all, we have 25% with 7 shots, 5 on target, 3 goals. So it's the old saying, possession is one tenth of the law!
Imho...I'm not quite sure what to say but ill have a go... Firstly Crawley are a poor side...its 3...it could be a lot more. You can only play what's in front of you and I don't want to get too carried away with our performance. That said we are half a yard quicker all over the pitch and look dangerous. Craig and Connell have dominated midfield. Our passing looks sharper and movement better too. Very difficult to say too much.....3 points will be very welcome...I want to see a professional second half and even try for more goals. Shame our new boys weren't available.....this would have suited.
Him and the Crawley defence, we've moved the ball very well but how bad are Crawley they look two yard off it but we can't do any more than take advantage and we have.
It was a very poor penalty, considering his usual mode of shooting. From twelve yards he should be taking the netting off it's moorings. Very lucky he got away with that, or maybe he psyched the keeper out and knew exactly what he was doing.
I checked that on a football site, as the BBC have us in 7th. Exact same stats as Lincoln. We beat them in a Head-to-Head recently. B comes before L, but still wrong. I've noticed before that the BBC League tables seem to work on a different algorithm. Maybe it takes North / South geography into account.
Belting 1st half. Only issue here is how the hell it isn't more than 3 nil. More of the same 2nd half please.
https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/league-one/league-table I like this site, as I can select the table by date.
I hope we don't do what we did against Man U kids and throw this away. I know we want to give minutes to the the second string, but I'd rather we get 5 or 6 on the board before making wholesale changes.
