You can only get points for 1 ticket, other needs to be assigned to someone else to get points.

Further away from Oakwell I believe. Usually when they release ticketing info, it says how many points you get for buying a ticket. For example, it says this for Stevenage tickets:

Supporters will be allocated 2 loyalty points for purchasing their tickets in advance.

No loyalty for those that travel hours to come to Oakwell though, which is a shame. Not sure how they'd do it mind.

I believe it also helps if you go by club coach

In fairness, I don't think the idea of the points system is to 'reward' people as such, it's just to ensure people who regularly go to away games get priority when there's a small allocation.

I've got some points for buying club coach tickets to Plymouth even though I never went to that game!

I may be wrong but, doesn't the points system reward season ticket holders who also regularly go away, to get priority when there's a small allocation? The number of points given for an away match, if you haven't already got the large number given for having a ST is pretty meaningless?

It also doesn’t matter how many points you have if you no longer have a season ticket holder as you have to wait until after all season ticket holders are given the option to purchase first regardless and they go straight to general sale.

I believe so, yes. Which is wrong when you think about it, as I imagine everyone has a client number that points could be assigned to. You get so many points for being a season ticket holder (I think it's 50), so there's a benefit there of getting a season ticket. I think it'd be easy to do.

This is the bigger issue for me. 3 of us had ST during covid season but only 2 were reserved+ or whatever they were called, simply because my son didn't want a shirt that season. Think it was 50 points for reserved plus which means a) will be a lot of people who never go away with more points than those who do but weren't reserved+ ST holders and b) has made getting away tkts for us a lot more tricky as me and daughter usually in a different category to him. Not sure how but could do with resolving somehow
