    It has been confirmed that Barnsley will take on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Tuesday 17th September, in an 8pm kick-off.

    The Reds gained entry into the third round after beating local rivals Sheffield United at Oakwell and will now head to Manchester to face the Red Devils in front of 74,000 fans. Barnsley have been awarded an allocation of 7,393.

    Ticketing information for the fixture is as follows:

    Adults: £41/£42
    Senior 65+: £33/£34
    Young adult 18-20: £33/£34
    Under 18: £25/£26
    Under 16: £20/£20

    Ticket purchase information and dates will be released once we have received the printed tickets from Manchester United.

    Was looking forward to this, but not a chance am I paying £41 for a league cup game.

    I hope we don’t shift 7 never mind 7 thousand.

    How can they limit prem away fans to £30, but charge these figures for cup games.

    I've been to Old Trafford twice, once to see Great Britain and once on corporate do.

    Sickening costs. As it happens I’ve been to Old Trafford quite a few times over the last 4 years so although it would have been nice to go see Barnsley play there, I’ll wait until we draw a top 4 team in the next round :p

    What do you do young Alfie wants to go how often will he see his team play at old trafford but **** me £62 spunking quid for me and him. Better not all book at once we know what them mancs are like at dynamic pricing.

    Poor pricing both my young ens want to go will cost us with tickets transport over 100 quid for a Tuesday night in the fizzy pop cup. Yeah it's a great stadium and will be a good experience but ridiculous prices.
