Another goal for McRonaldo, aww what a shame. But in fairness they should have beat the Poles the other night, I don't know how they blew it.
Over the last few years, the crossing ability from Portugal to allow ronaldo to tap in goals is absolutely insane. Theyre such good crosses. Whips, dinks, from deep or pushed up, incredibly good crosses on a consistent basis. I cant think of many teams let alone national teams who have such talent in that system
And as annoying as he is at times, Ronaldo still keeps on playing and scoring winning goals. So too is Luca Modric by the way, a winner for Croatia tonight in the Scotch group.
That free kick was immaculate mate from Modric. He had a great game too. In my lifetime, ronaldo is certainly the second best footballer. Perhaps I'm being unfair on him because I rate Maradona &Pele above him, maybe even Cruyff, but those 3 I've only ever watched on tape, youtube, etc, so haven't seen anywhere near the hours I've seen of ronaldo, but as a peak athlete I dont think nobody comes close to Ronaldo. The commitment hes shown to his body & craft and the mentality to keep it going is phenomenal. Messi, Maradona, Pele in that order and toss up between Cruyff and Ronaldo, probably Ronaldo. But then again greats like Di Stefano, Gerd Muller, Beckenbauer probably should be up there but I've seen nowhere near enough for me personally to be able to say that. Obviously Zidane and the 'real' Ronaldo too, absolutely sublime players
I think people need to appreciate how hard it is when people will you on at every opportunity and you freeze and turn that faith to 5 h it.
