Their food is also top notch. Great collaboration.

Looks good on their website menu and reasonably priced too. I'll probably try it in the next couple of weeks.

 

That's a cracking deal that one to be fair. I've only been in the place once a few weeks back. Definitely will be returning at some point

Urban burger has been established for a few years in Donny and I can assure those of you yet to sample; if you like burgers you will love this place. Really good - and I don’t think too expensive given the great quality, freshness, and the fact all the toppings and sauces are included in the price.

Regular cheese burger (which is a double, single is termed small); grilled mushrooms, jalapeños, pickles, burger sauce. Im a creature of habit. I’m typing myself hungry here as well… Paprika fries (even the smaller size are big enough to share and that’s coming from a 20st bloke who can eat).

I haven’t tried the chicken - my son tells me they are amazing, and the cheese sauce for the fries isn’t my thing but my older daughter raves about it.

20% off is decent, I might sneak over to the glassworks as I’ve been threatening to go and look for a long time. Not being from tarn it’s been many a year since I’ve been into the town centre (and I mean years, I might have had a pint in Groggers when I did!!!); my Mrs did a cover shift in the Paddy Power shop a few months back and says the centre looked really good. I’ll have to come in early one week and have a gander. Have a wander over nudger’s bridge.

To be fair I’ll probably get summat different to eat even with 20% off at Urban, assuming there’s other stuff there I’ve not tried.

You’ll not go wrong in Market Kitchen. Honestly, I haven’t lived there for 12 years, but having worked in the town centre for a lot of that time I’ve seen it go from the absolute pits to what it is right now, and it’s as good as anywhere in the north, for me, other than Leeds. But that’s by the by.

Seriously mate, give yourself an extra few hours one Matchday and have a mooch.

 

Next home game’s the late ko isn’t it? I might just do that.
