    It was either finish my conf call at 5 and get snarled up in Bradford or Colne rush hour, or come over late lunch, park up, then dump my laptop and stuff in the car.
    Currently sat like Billy No Mates in Lowry Costa, if anyone is passing and wants to buy me a top-up whilst I look busy on my call.

    Parked up at my daughter’s in Stockport. Just doing a few work calls and e mails before the train. Staying over so there may be a couple of drinks pre match.

    Today is a good day.

    Handed my laptop, credit cards and security passes in at the office and retired.

    Had a couple of pints with lunch in Edinburgh and now being driven down to Old Trafford.

    A win tonight would make this a perfect day.

    Isn't it Colne that makes Todmorden look like a bustling metropolis?

    It has a population of 18,000. Roughly the same as Wombwell.
