If your car is Android Auto / Apple Car play compatible you could stream most radio stations, either via their own app or something like TuneIn Radio app. I stream Absolute radio stations even though I have got them on DAB as well because I can't be bothered to switch back out of Android Auto to the native radio list.

Edit: Just noticed you have a 73 Beatle. So no, don't imagine it is AA or Carplay compatible ;)

6Music is first choice, but depends what's on, could be Radio 2, 4, 4 extra, 5, 5 Sports Extra or Radio Sheffield if I'm driving to the match to get the team news.

I also listen to podcasts quite a bit (through Android Auto), especially No such thing as a Fish - which is done by the QI elves.
If none of that takes my fancy then I've got a USB stick plugged in with most of my music collection on - quite often hit the random button.

You'll get far more than that on a memory stick. I had my whole CD collection on one stick.

I put absolute radio on and then sometimes alternate with absolute 80s/90s. And radio Sheffield on match days.
