I'm seeing a different game TBH. another goal keeping error, Roberts mistake & well taken goal from an England INTERNATIONAL. We've played quite well, but we are 3-0 down at half time
The fact it's a Premier League team is probably a saving grace as it will divert alot of criticism. The fact is this could quite easily be against a lower Championship team and the vast gulf in class would be clear to see...... The criticism would be abit louder then.
Clarke is flattering to deceive so far, but it’s still early days. His downfall at the minute is odd team selections & a lack of continuity & lack of any progress or signs of some sort of system the players are buying into. It’s no better than Collins at this stage of the season. But again, I reiterate, it’s early days!
It wasn’t world class. He moved a bit left. The side where the goal was. Roberts did nothing at all. Then the goalie didn’t spread.
Our back 5 have been incapable of tracking movement for the past couple of seasons. No surprise we’re getting torn apart against a team with lots of runners and one touch football and obviously quality. This should get very nasty in the second half
Those up the pitch have absolutely sod all chance when we gift the opposition goals every single week. Our transfer window that's left us with that defence has been appalling
Obviously a problem with the app and how it decodes characters. I’ve stopped using it and now just use web view.
I've no issues tbf - yes Roberts was a little bit cumbersome defending the first goal, but it is what it is. He's not as quick as he once was, but that's understandable. The only comment I've got to make is that Jalo looks unfit and overweight - does he still need 15 minutes to get going? Oh good, they're scored again.
There’s a way to lose. It’s not rolling over and getting hammered. Man U are very vulnerable. They are brittle defensively and not especially in form. So while yes losing is expected you have to put up a fight. We haven’t.
Agree unfortunately. Decent play but didn’t move the ball really, Roberts just out of position. That’s because we play a system that’s so, so easy to play against.
We’re doing that because they’re too skillful for us though. A very mismatched tennis match probably would look like that, sometimes when the much lower ranked player did get to the ball they may not have chance to control it properly and get it back over the net because they are overstretched or out of position because of the quality of the other player putting pressure on them. We’re not playing in isolation, everything we do is affected by their play.
